The Essentials

Program Overview

Clark’s MBA allows you to complete the program at your own pace by choosing either full- or part-time enrollment status and beginning in either Spring, Summer (online only),  or Fall. A choice of seven distinct concentrations allows you to tailor your experience to fit your needs and interests.

We value your professional work experience. Students with sufficient experience as a manager in a professional position may be eligible for a course waiver, allowing mid-level professionals to advance quickly. Successful completion of an undergraduate or graduate course in economics is required prior to starting the program.

For students who have applied for and been accepted to the Professional Track (worked for three or more years in a professional position with managerial experience), the MBA program differs in the following ways:

  • Students are waived of the Experiential Learning Requirement (ELR) – Internship.
  • Students may be waived of, at most, one unit in MIS, MKT, FIN, ACCT, or OM based on extensive work experience. Waivers are granted by the Graduate Admissions Review Committee at the time of admission. (Note: Being accepted to the Professional Track does not guarantee a course waiver.)
  • Students take the advanced leadership course, MGMT 4200 Advanced Organizational Leadership.
  • The total unit requirement for the program is 12 units, depending on waivers.
  • PLEASE NOTE: Your internship is waived; however, if you decide you would like to do an internship, you will be required to use Optional Practical Training (OPT.) You will not be allowed to use Curricular Practical Training (CPT), nor will you be allowed to switch to the Traditional MBA in order to complete an internship as part of your program.
