Guest artists Alicia Kosack (flute), Laura Armstrong (clarinet), and Matthew Jaskot (piano) present a concert of music inspired by dance. The program includes a traditional dance suite by Claude Debussy, a more abstract dance themed set by Libby Larsen, and solos filled with Latin American rhythms by Valerie Coleman and Osvaldo Golijov. The featured composition is Jaskots modern take on the traditional dance suite, entitled Dense, Angular, Nuanced, Cosmic Energy.
