Clark University’s Geller Jazz series welcomes the Haitian Jazz Project to campus on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 @ 7:30pm

In Haitian Jazz Project, alto saxophonist Godwin Louis brings together an all-star group of musicians playing jazz infused with the energy and vibrancy of Haiti.

The Haitian Jazz Project features singer Pauline Jean, one of the “Grandes Dames De La Musique Haitienne,” or Great Ladies of Haitian Music (Ralph Boncy). “The deeply soulful and melodious voice of Haitian-American singer Pauline Jean delights audiences at home and abroad, perfectly capturing her creole background and love of classic jazz music with tunes and arrangements of her own creation.” (Kreol Magazine)

Haitian Jazz Project:

  • Godwin Louis – saxophones
  • Bill Buss – trumpets
  • Aaron Goldberg – keys
  • Johnathan Michel – bass
  • Allan Mednard – drums
  • Pauline Jean – vocals

This performance is made possible through the generous support of the estate of Selma B. Geller.
