The final event for the Common Academic Experience will include a facilitated discussion with Damian Duffy and John Jennings, the illustrators who adapted Octavia Butler’s “Parable of the Sower” as a graphic novel.
The Common Academic Experience introduces the first-year class to a common text on pressing issues that inspire the academic and research programs at Clark.
All are welcome to attend! The discussion will be livestreamed over Zoom, with a watch party in Jefferson 320. Snacks will be provided for those attending in person, and you’ll also be entered into a raffle to win a Clark sweatshirt from the Campus Store.
