The Black Arts Explosion launches Clark’s celebration of Black History Month with an opportunity for Black students, faculty, staff, and community members who are artists and creatives to showcase and sell their artwork, designs, jewelry, etc.
In addition to the art showcase, BAE will feature Black Monologues, an open mic opportunity for Black people at Clark to share their experiences and stories as a Black person at a predominantly white institution via spoken word, poetry, music (singing, rapping), etc.
