Do you groan when you stand up? Does your body remind you of the challenges it has faced throughout your lifetime? Are you finding it difficult to make time for self care or exercise? Do you also love RUNNING? This webinar is for you!

Tips for preparation, training, squeezing running into your busy life, and recommendations on an approach and mindset to remain injury free will all be discussed. Brian Simons, professional running coach, physical therapist and owner of Creaky Bones, will help you learn how to begin, improve, and enjoy running throughout the many phases of adult life.

Speaker(s): Brian Simons did not like running for a LONG TIME. It was either punishment for misbehavior, a part of something he loved (soccer, or staying in shape for wrestling by joining the high school XC team), or seemed like an inefficient way to get places. During and after PT school (yup, he has a doctorate), Brian ran for fitness, mental health, and as a way to learn about the regions he was living in. With the brazen naivety of youth, he signed up for spot on a charity team for the 2015 Boston Marathon to check off the feat from his bucket list. From there on out, it has been a love story full of trials and tribulations, wild adventures, neon clothing, and amazing friendships.

Qualifications: • Road Runner’s Club of America (RRCA) Coaching Certification Level I • Doctorate of Physical Therapy-MGH Institute of Health Professions • 5x Marathoner, many other races • Proud #GirlDad x 2 • Lives with retired racers (Greyhounds x2) • Has body parts that remind him of his age/abuse/genetics (Creaky Bones)
