Summer Game Studio offers high school students the opportunity to dive into the gaming industry. This two-week residential program allows students ages 14 to 18 to live, learn, and play games together. The program is designed to introduce high school students to all aspects of game development, including game design; game art and animation; motion capture; programming; sound; testing; and production. Students work in small groups, as part of a development team, and collaborate to build an original game. At the culmination of the program, students showcase their new game and discuss the programs and processes they used during game development with family, friends, and professional game developers.
