Opening Day Reception: HERO Summer Research Program

It’s the 20th anniversary celebration of Clark University’s Human Environment Regional Observation (HERO) research program.
This summer is also year eight of our HERO program examining urban forestry and stewardship focusing on the DCR’s “Greening the Gateway Cities” tree planting program in Massachusetts. We also welcome six Clark undergraduates who will be taking part in this summer’s program. Our special guest, Dr. Lara Roman (U.S. Forest Service), will present on her recent urban forestry research as well.
