December is Universal Human Rights Month, and December 10th marks the anniversary of the UN’s 1948 passage of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.  The UN is celebrating this year’s anniversary with the theme of equality – echoing Article 1 in the document:

“All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood.”

To celebrate the month, we have put together a small book display, as well as a board featuring an opportunity for you to write down what equality means to you. If you are passing through, take a look and share your thoughts!
