Clark University recently hosted the first annual “Worcester Inter-University Workshop on Refugees” that convened academics and practitioners to address issues surrounding forced migration in central Massachusetts.

As part of Clark IDCE’s Integration and Belonging Hub initiative, the workshop addressed topics including the history of settlement in the Worcester community, legal and sociological categorizations of refugees, methods and ethics of community-engaged research, and mapping and counter-mapping of refugees.
