Yanan Wu

Yanan received her Ph.D. degree in Geospatial Information Sciences from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2024 and a M.A degree in Geography from Binghamton University in 2019. Her research focuses on how location influences events, demonstrating how surrounding geographical environments at locations contribute to human activities. She has conducted research analyzing the repetitive occurrence of traffic accidents at locations. Additionally, she is interested in how geographical environments, both at specific sites and along vehicle pathways, affect the movement of emergency vehicles.
