Ways to get software

Favorable pricing is available on some of the products students use most. Free software is listed in the table below.  To access the software you will be required to login with your Clark account.  Contact the ITS Help Desk with any questions.

Clark offers free and discounted software to current employees. The free versions remain active while you are employed at Clark.  All software is listed at the table below.  Log in with your Clark account to access the installers. Contact the ITS Help Desk with any questions.

Common Software

Many of the most common software used on Clark-managed devices are available for installation through Software Center; a Windows application that is installed on all Clark machines. Software Center displays all of the software available for installation on a device by any user. To launch Software center, click on the search icon (magnifying glass) on your Windows taskbar and search for “Software Center”. From there you can see and install common software including:

  • Foxit PDF Reader
  • VLC Player (for video playback)
  • Skype
  • Microsoft Teams
  • Chrome and Firefox
  • 7Zip File Extractor

The software that you have available in Software Center will depend on the device and your role at Clark. If you have any questions, please contact the Help Desk.

Specialist Software

Faculty and Staff who wish to install or purchase (with a Clark PO) specialist software such as those listed below, for Clark owned computers, should contact the ITS Help Desk for assistance:

  • Creative Cloud
    • (Acrobat Pro, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere, etc..)
  • MATLAB & Simulink with toolboxes
  • Power PDF
  • Project
  • SAS
  • SPSS & AMOS
  • STATA SE/IC/MP

Software is available to Clark University community. Limitations and restrictions for use may apply. The software may require minimum system requirements and you should verify your device is capable of running the software. You may direct questions about software purchasing to the ITS Help Desk.
