Thanks to the knowledge they gain in and outside of the classroom, undergraduate students in the School of Geography graduate with a full range of skills, knowledge and experience. To identify internship, research, and career opportunities, our students have access to multiple resources and a wide network of Clark alumni. They also have close relationships with faculty, who assist them to figuring out career tracks. On-campus funding for internships and research opportunities also is available.

On-Campus Resources

Undergraduate students have multiple opportunities at Clark to connect with employers for internships and careers:

  • School of Geography’s Canvas page: Lists jobs, internships and other opportunities available for undergraduate students and recent graduates. If you are a current student in one of our programs, you should have access to this page; log into Clark Canvas and viewing “Published Courses.” If you are unable to access this page, or you are a prospective student seeking information, contact the Administrator of Degree Programs.
  • Clark’s Handshake Job Portal: One-stop shopping for jobs and internships posted by local, national, and even international employers.
  • ClarkCONNECT: Events and portal linking students with Clark alumni for internships and career insights.
  • LEEP Center’s Career Development Center: Advisers can help you choose from a range of opportunities that complement your coursework and put your knowledge into practice.
