Living in one of our residence halls as a first-year or transfer student is a key part of your Clark experience. Below, learn how to apply for housing, plan for your arrival in August, be aware of residence hall closings during breaks, and more.

Applying for Housing

Find your application to apply to live in one of Clark’s residence halls in your ClarkYOU portal. Once you log in:

  • Click the menu item Housing and Dining Self-Service.
  • Click on the Applications, Forms & Requests tab.
  • Fill out the New Student Housing & Dining Request Form.

Applications for incoming first-year and transfer students open on May 4. First-year students should complete the application by June 21; transfer students should complete it by June 30.

Arriving on Campus

First-year and transfer students will be assigned a move in date and time August 15-21. Instructions on how and where to arrive have been, and will continue to be, emailed to students and families in advance of their scheduled arrival.

Clark University Residential Life & Housing will not be able to accommodate early arrival requests for the fall 2020 openings due to COVID-19 concerns and restrictions.

If you need to make housing and travel plans for the break, please note that residence halls will close at noon (12PM EST) on Saturday, November 21, 2020. Residence halls will reopen in February similarly to the fall 2020 semester where students will be assigned a move in date and time between February 12-19.

Residence halls will close at noon (12PM EST) on Saturday, June 5, 2021 for all non-graduating students, Graduating students must be moved out by noon (12PM EST) on Monday, June 21, 2020.
