Current members of the Clark community are provided mailboxes in Clark’s Office 365 service. Clark University sends all electronic communications using this account. You have the option to forward your Clark email to other services, but we cannot guarantee the delivery of email that is forwarded to a non-Clark email address.

You may access your Clark email on or off-campus with a variety of connection methods including the Web, using your preferred email client (the ITS Help Desk supports Outlook), or apps for your mobile device. If you wish to login via the web, there is a link in the ClarkYOU portal or you can connect directly via the URL

Your Clark account is what you’ll use to access your email. When prompted for your username, specify it in the form of your Clark email address. If you need to change your password, use the Password Change Utility linked here.

Clark University sends electronic communications via your address. Email forwarding will take all email sent to your Clark University email address ( and forward it to another email address you specify. If you choose to forward your email to an alternate address, we cannot guarantee delivery. Please note you are still responsible for all electronic communications sent to you, so if you choose to forward make sure you’ve tested to ensure delivery is working.

Departmental or group mailboxes can streamline correspondence that does not
directly correlate to just one individual. The mailbox can be set up as the
department or group’s name and multiple individuals can be granted
permission to check that mailbox.

Why not just use my own mailbox?
If departmental mail gets delivered into your own mailbox, it counts against
your own mail quota. If you go on vacation, others cannot check the mail while
you are away. Departmental mailboxes have their own quota and can be managed by
multiple people.

Configure Devices to Check Clark Email

With many clients, you’ll have a choice of using Exchange/ActiveSync or IMAP to connect. ITS strongly recommends Exchange because it has several advantages, including easier setup (it only requires that you provide your email address and password for set up while IMAP requires additional server information and Exchange provides direct access to all of the folders that are part of your mailbox (including the the calendar)).

To configure your mobile device to connect to Office 365, click the link associated with your mobile device below. These links provide information on configuring your device for either Exchange or IMAP, unless otherwise specified. ITS recommends you choose Exchange/ActiveSync whenever possible.


For any service that uses autodiscover or autosync, use your Clark email address as the username and/or the email address, i.e.
