Your Entrepreneurial Journey

We believe you should control your aspirational destiny, and we aim to meet you where you are in your innovation and entrepreneurial journey.

If your project is in the idea phase, we will start there. Or if you already have a business or venture, we will help you with strategies for continued growth and development.

Take just one or two courses, or pursue six courses toward an innovation and entrepreneurship minor.

When you tap into the services, resources, and courses of Clark’s Entrepreneurship and Innovation Program, you’ll join a diverse community of students holding a wide range of innovative and entrepreneurial interests.

Minor in Entrepreneurship and Innovation

To complete a minor in entrepreneurship and innovation, you will need six courses, including a final course where you put your skills to work on your own entrepreneurial venture or participate in the “food truck” class where teams start small food businesses and cater events on campus and in the community.

Special Areas of Focus

Small Business Ownership

Entrepreneurship is more than just coming up with a great idea, but how do you turn that into a small business? Our program supports small business development through activities, courses, and mentorship.

Social & International Entrepreneurship and Innovation

Launching a business and promoting social change depends on a similar set of skills: developing ideas, raising money, planning and organizing, connecting with communities, and staying focused and committed. Often, business and social change go hand-in-hand, through an approach called social entrepreneurship. We offer courses and activities that allow you to understand and apply this approach.

Our program promotes an understanding of entrepreneurship in global economies. Courses within the innovation and entrepreneurship minor provide you with the opportunity to travel nationally and internationally to work closely with social entrepreneurs throughout the world.
