High performance computing is the practice of aggregating computing power to deliver much higher performance than one could get out of a typical desktop computer or workstation. At Clark University, this power is often used to solve significant problems in sciences, geography, economics, or business, although this service is open to all members of the Clark community.

Clark University’s High Performance Computing Cluster (HPC) is a powerful tool that is available for use by graduate, undergraduate, and faculty in service of research and academic projects. The cluster is managed by the Clark University Cluster Services Team which runs on Rocky Linux 8 and uses the SLURM job scheduler.

Whether you are a seasoned researcher or a student just starting out, the HPC is a valuable resource that can help you tackle even the most challenging computational problems.
