Grounds

The focus of the Grounds Department is to maintain and improve the overall appearance of the campus grounds. Experienced personnel work to ensure that the campus, athletic fields, and facilities look their best.

The Grounds Department is responsible for regular campus maintenance including; mowing, trimming, edging, mulching, blowing, litter, removal of tree limbs & leaves, snow removal & other weather response, sweeping sidewalks & parking lots and campus waste removal.

The Grounds Department is responsible for campus landscaping, including tree removal/arborist care, hardscape repair/installation and the planting of shrubbery, trees, annuals, perennials, etc.

The Grounds Department handles the upkeep of the athletic fields. Regular care and maintenance include maintaining the sports equipment, mowing, raking the grass as required, lining and preparing the synthetic and natural fields for athletic events, etc.

 

Going Green

The Grounds Department is making efforts to go as green as possible. They use a 60/40 organic fertilizer mixture and employ other practices to promote a healthy environment.

 Hours

The Grounds Department works Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
