Between the Lines: A Clark Author Series

Clark University’s Jack Delehanty will discuss his recent book, “Making Moral Citizens: How Faith-Based Organizers Use Vocation for Public Action(University of North Carolina Press, 2023). Learn more about his book here.

This event will be held in person on the 2nd Floor of the Goddard Library. Light refreshments will be served.

About the Author:

Jack Delehanty is assistant professor of sociology at Clark University. His research is driven by an interest in the ways cultural meaning systems, particularly those derived from religion, enable, constrain, and legitimate civic and political activity among everyday people in the U.S.

About Between the Lines:

Between the Lines is a Goddard Library speaker series co-sponsored by the office of the Associate Provost for Faculty Affairs and is aimed at an audience of the curious, both within Clark and beyond. The purpose of the series is to celebrate Clark faculty scholarship through an intellectually accessible conversation with the author about their life and work. Prepare to engage and be inspired by the research and creative works of our university’s diverse and distinguished faculty.
