The sender is writing to “dear Uncle Otto” and expresses happiness about a safe return from a “very beautiful trip”. They have many stories to tell about their journey. The sender wants to know when they can expect Otto to visit, suggesting that “this week” would be suitable. They hope that the “Pausbestimmung” (pause/break determination) will be extended for fourteen days. The sender asks Otto to write back or visit on Tuesday.
