Postmark: Black circle with the date 21.8. 34. 16-17 in the middle. From Falkensee, Germany.

Historical background: Hitler Youth was formed in the 1930’s as a way to spread Nazi Party ideology to young people. All youth between the ages of 10 and 18 were required to join. The groups were separated by gender and competed in sports and military training exercises to prepare them for war.
