Attend advising workshops
The different advising offices hold workshops regularly throughout the year to help students adjust to life at Clark and to assist them in moving forward with their academic and professional careers.
Talk to your professors!
Though they may not technically be your advisors, Clark University professors are passionate about student success and can help connect you to academic and professional resources. Contacting a professor with questions about an assignment, on-campus project, or job search can help you to form lasting mentoring relationships.
Browse the ClarkU website
The Clark website links to each of the advising centers and will allow you to connect with advising staff. The site also includes information and advice for prospective majors, frequently asked questions, details on scholarships, and access to student petitions. Use the site as a resource for self-advising.
Talk to your peers
Your peers are a fantastic resource if you are seeking advise about student life, clubs, student ventures, volunteering, and academic success. Reach out to peers in your major or within your extracurricular interests. Before you know it, you could be singing in an a cappella group, performing stand-up comedy, playing geography trivia, or exploring other undiscovered interests.
