International Students at Clark present Intl Gala April 7

Worcester, Mass. -The International Students Association (ISA), a student initiative at Clark University, will showcase a rich variety of cultural entertainment, fashion and cuisine during the annual International Gala, from 7 to 10 p.m., on Friday, April 7, in the Daniels Theater, Atwood Hall. The performances will be followed an After-Gala Soirée at 10 p.m. International cuisine will be served at the After-Gala Soirée in Tilton Hall, Higgins University Center.

Held every spring, the Gala showcases the foods, native dress, dance and other customs of the students' native countries. The event is typically standing room only and is free and open to the public.

The following countries/regions will be represented at the International Gala: Africa, Bangladesh, Brazil, Bulgaria, China, Eastern Europe, Greece, Hawaii, India, Ireland, Israel, Jamaica, Lebanon, Latin America, the Middle-East, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and the United States.

The International Students Association (ISA) promotes better relations among students of different cultures through a variety of intellectual, informative, and entertaining events encouraging cross-cultural communication and keeping the Clark and Worcester communities abreast of international cultures.
