From academic, artistic and activist groups to intramural sports and Division III varsity athletics, Clark offers more than 100 clubs, organizations and teams that suit just about any interest. And if we don't have a group or club team you're interested in, you can start it yourself.

HOUSING and MEALS

As a first-year student you'll live in one of Clark's three "First-Year Experience" residence halls or with upperclass students in one of the mixed-class residence halls. As for food, Clark offers options to suit any diet. Learn more about living at Clark by visiting Residential Life and Housing, where you can see photos and floorplans of different residences, and Clark Dining to see all your meal plan options.

Clark at a Glance

Jonas Clark after dark

Built in 1887 and named for the founder of the university, Jonas Clark Hall is the physical and academic center of life on campus. It has been home to many great moments in its long life, including being the spot where Sigmund Freud received the only honorary degree he was ever presented.

Living the good (dorm) life at Clark

First-year students have lots of great options for living on campus. From social lounges with pool tables and TVs to multimedia study rooms, we have everything you need to feel right at home. There's even a dorm-room cooking show for the food-obsessed.

Clark from Above

The photo makes it look like a scale model, but the Clark campus — in the heart of New England's second largest city — combines urban living with quick and easy access to the great outdoors.

Rockin' out in the Woo

Worcester is home to great clubs, restaurants, museums and all sorts of other great things to keep Clarkies busy and engaged all year round.

Clark’s “Brutal” Library

The Goddard Library, built in 1969 and named for Clark alumnus Robert Goddard, the father of modern rocketry, is an example of the "brutalist" architectural style.

Frigid Freud

This statue of Sigmund Freud sits in the middle of campus and commemorates the famed psychologist's visit to Clark in 1909.

Celebrating the Spice of Clark Life

Held each spring, the International Gala showcases traditional and contemporary dance, music, song, theater and fashion from the diverse cultures at Clark.

The Clark Spark

With more than 3,000 students — undergraduate and graduate — Clark is the perfect size for close collaborations between and among students and faculty.

Green is Gold in our Science Building

The Lasry Biosciences Building — a 50,000 square-foot facility that is home to Clark's Biology Department — has a LEED Gold Certification from the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Green Building Rating System.

All kinds of active

With 17 Division III varsity athletics teams and more than 100 student clubs and intramural sports groups, Clark offers activities that suit just about any interest. And if we don't have a group or club team you're interested in, start one yourself.
