If you are a potential employer, please contact the Stevenish Career Management Center to discuss your internship or job needs. As a small business school offering master’s programs in management, finance, accounting, and analytics, we are focused on individual student career development and aim to match employer needs with the unique career skills and experience of our students.

Our career center will work directly with you to find top candidates who fit within your organization. Particularly for smaller employers, this hands-on matching process has proven helpful to our students and alumni, as well as the company seeking to fill an internship or full-time position. We can also share your job and internship postings more generally, reaching our vast network of talented alumni around the world.

Clark University’s School of Management is a member of the NACELink Network of Schools. This service allows employers to post openings and search a database of our students’ resumes.

If you are not a NACELink member, please email the SOM career staff with your internship or job openings.

Each year, students from more than 20 countries bring their knowledge and talents to SOM programs. Here, they expand their expertise, choosing from master’s programs in:

Students are positioned to become leaders who can make sound decisions based on contemporary, global practices. Along the way, they also develop and refine the “soft skills” sought by organizations worldwide.

At SOM, experiential learning is fully integrated into the curriculum of our programs. Students have hands-on learning opportunities to address business issues of consequence in for-profit or nonprofit organizations in Massachusetts and beyond. Recent examples have included working with:

  • A multi-national sports company and their wholesale store marketing efforts.
  • The largest outdoor history museum in the Northeast and their accounting information system.
  • One of the region’s premier performing arts centers and their sustainability action plans.

Based upon consistent feedback from employers, we know that SOM students adapt quickly and easily to the work environment. They are flexible in handling multiple assignments and supplement their technical strengths with teamwork and human relations skills.

SOM students are available to employers for part-time internships during the fall and spring semesters and for full- or part-time internships during the summer.

Employers should contact the Stevenish Career Management Center to list internship opportunities or discuss internship needs.

Employers are not required to have a formal internship program in order to hire a SOM student. Any employer interested in developing an internship opportunity may contact Kelly Kochis, Associate Director, Stevenish Career Management Center, to identify MBA, MSA, or MSF students who possess the specific skill sets for your position.

With many of our programs requiring internships, students complete them with a wide range of employers, large and small, both locally and worldwide. Some include:

  • AIG
  • Deloitte Services LP
  • KPMG
  • All State Insurance
  • Embassy of Afghanistan
  • Merrill Lynch
  • Alternative Investment Analytics, LLC
  • The Hanover Theatre
  • Johnson & Johnson
  • IBM Research
