Visit Campus

  • Annual Community Engagement Fair: At the start of the fall semester, our Community Engagement Fair hosts local nonprofit and government organizations on campus. Hundreds of students attend, most often seeking opportunities to volunteer. Some are looking for internships, but this is less common due to the early fall semester deadlines for Clark’s Academic Internship Program.
  • Table in University Center: During the year, we can facilitate tabling outside the cafeteria in the Higgins University Center. Most organizations prefer tabling during lunch (11 a.m. to 1 p.m.), but tabling during dinner (5 to 7 p.m.) is also available. Depending on availability, we may also be able to facilitate space on campus to hold an information session or volunteer training.

Post a position

Clark University uses Handshake as a platform for sharing job, volunteer, and internship openings with our students. Create an account and post opportunities, including long-term volunteer needs, day-of-service events, internships, or postgraduation job opportunities.

Host a site visit

There’s no substitute for seeing an organization’s work firsthand. The Community Engagement and Volunteering Center would love to visit you to learn about your programming and see how Clark students and faculty are already involved.
