Our countdown to Reunion Weekend continues with a #ThrowbackThursday for the Class of 1999!

Celebrating their 25th reunion, these Clarkies graduated in the last year of the millennium! Everyone was worried about Y2K and the collapse of technology, “Time” magazine named Albert Einstein the Person of the Century, and the Euro was introduced as the European “single currency.”

Sports stars Tiger Woods, Wayne Gretzky, and Tony Hawk made history, and the U.S. Women’s Soccer Team won the FIFA World Cup. And in Entertainment, “SpongeBob” premiered on Nickelodeon, “The Sixth Sense” and “The Matrix” hit movie theatres.
