Our faculty and students conduct research in a range of economics fields, including land use change, government regulations, and environmental planning, at the micro and macro levels.
Research that Matters
Our economics faculty collaborate frequently with faculty from other Clark departments, as well as with fellow economists from across the globe, and publish their findings in top industry journals.
Clark doctoral students have studied spatial, urban, and environmental economics; economic development; industrial organization and environmental issues; and applied econometrics, among other topics. They have gone on to academic positions in 15 states and nine countries.
Economics undergraduates are encouraged to conduct research as part of a course, internship, or honors program, or in collaboration with faculty. They are able to present their research findings at on-campus events, as well as at professional conferences across the country.
