By its very nature, research in biochemistry and molecular biology crosses boundaries. Our faculty and students collaborate together and across disciplines and institutions.
By its very nature, research in biochemistry and molecular biology crosses boundaries. Our faculty and students collaborate together and across disciplines and institutions.
Our faculty are housed in the Chemistry and Biology departments, but their research lies at the intersection of the two. They also collaborate with colleagues in the departments of Physics and Mathematics and Computer Science.
Our doctoral students work closely with faculty and mentor younger students. They present their work at national and international conferences and publish in esteemed scientific journals.
Students who engage in research can take their work to the next level through our honors program.
Students have access to scientific equipment in the state-of-the-art Lasry Center for Bioscience, Jeppson Laboratory, and the Arthur M. Sackler Sciences Center, which connects with the Physics, Mathematics, and Computer Science Building.
