Mst Sanjida Alam is a graduate student in the Master of Science in Geographic Information Science (GIS) program and a research assistant at the Center for Geospatial Analytics at Clark University. Before joining Clark, she served for nearly a decade with the Bangladesh Army Education Corps and remotely advised GREENS—GIS Research for Environment and Sustainable Solutions in Bangladesh. She holds both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in Geography and Environmental Studies from the University of Chittagong, Bangladesh.
Her research interests include forest and land-change dynamics, wildfire modeling, and climate vulnerability, with a focus on applying GIS, remote sensing, spatial statistics, and machine learning to support environmental resilience and sustainability.
