Juju Kaiser

Juju Kaiser is a senior at Clark University studying Environmental Science, Earth Systems Science pursuing minors in Geography and Economics. She is going into her first year of graduate courses with the M.S. GIS 5th year program. As a research assistant at Clark CGA, she hopes to contribute to the pond aquaculture mapping project in partnership with the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation to update mangrove land change in the face of rapidly expanding shrimp farming. She has also been a fellow of the Human-Environment Regional Observatory (HERO) Program since 2024, studying the impact of soil contaminants on urban tree planting initiatives in Holyoke, MA as part of a resurvey of trees planted by the Greening the Gateway Cities Program.

Her research interests include soil health, agriculture, urban heat island effect, economic policy, and environmental justice.
