Clark CGA Joins the Cloud Native Geospatial Forum as a Member

Clark CGA is proud to announce we are now a proud member of the Cloud Native Geospatial Forum (CNG Forum), an initiative led by Radiant Earth.

This membership aligns with our mission to advance cutting-edge geospatial research and innovation. By joining the CNG forum, Clark CGA is excited to be a part of a global community that believes in collaboration to deepen understanding of the world through the power of geospatial data, developing open standards, creating open planetary-scale datasets, putting satellite imagery on phone, and supporting generous and brilliant innovators, creating a space for them to connect.

Clark CGA looks forward to contributing to this ecosystem and engaging with other geospatial key organizations. across the globe through the various events and conferences held by CNG to drive impactful solutions in the geospatial field.

“Joining the Cloud Native Geospatial Forum aligns with our mission at Clark CGA to leverage cloud-native solutions for cutting-edge geospatial research, education, and real-world applications” says Hamed Alemohammad, Director of Clark CGA. “As geospatial technologies evolve, embracing cloud-native practices is essential for advancing scalable, open, and interoperable solutions. This membership enables us to collaborate with industry leaders, drive innovation, and ensure our research remains at the forefront of geospatial science. We are excited to contribute to and benefit from the dynamic CNG community, shaping the future of cloud-native geospatial analytics.”

“We’re pleased to welcome Clark University as an educational member of CNG,” says Jed Sundwall, Radiant Earth’s executive director. “Few institutions have a better track record of applying geospatial data analysis to real world problems than Clark University, and our entire community benefits from their involvement. We look forward to working with them to break down barriers to geospatial data accessibility and drive innovation in the field.”
