Office of the Dean of the College

The Dean of the College is responsible for the development and implementation of undergraduate academic programs and policies. The Dean also serves as Associate Provost of the University, with broad responsibility of curriculum and instruction, including:

The Dean of the College works closely with the Undergraduate Academic Board (UAB), the major faculty committee that reviews proposals for new courses, majors, concentrations and academic requirements and assesses existing programs and requirements.

The Dean also oversees the Fall and Spring honors Convocations and Commencement and chairs or coordinates most undergraduate student awards committees.
