Part-time MBA Coaching Program: CAREER CONFIDENCE
We understand that most part-time GSOM students are working professionals juggling multiple priorities at school, work and home. At the same time, students may wish to advance in their careers once they gain new knowledge and skills from the MBA program. Now in its 4th year, the Part-time MBA Coaching program is designed to meet these needs.
This year’s program is CAREER CONFIDENCE. It was created to assist GSOM students with common issues such as reinventing for a new role, dealing with job loss or conducting a job search in today’s challenging market. Being able to identify and convey confidence while building relationships is key to one’s success.
To give GSOM students this powerful advantage, Career Services has partnered with locally renowned coach and motivational speaker Jayne Mattson to deliver CAREER CONFIDENCE. Jayne is a Senior Vice President/Certified Master Career Transition Consultant for a New England based career management firm and principal of Confidence Counts. She holds a Master's Degree of Management from Leslie University and a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources from Northeastern University.
The CAREER CONFIDENCE program consists of 2–3 workshops held on Saturday mornings at Clark’s Southborough campus. Sample workshop topics are “Self-Esteem Leadership and Self-Confidence” and “Building Face-to-Face Relationships in the Age of Social Media”. Additionally, Jayne is available for one-on-one personal coaching by phone or in person at Clark Southborough. Appointments are available before and after work, lunch hour and weekend hours.
This offering is unique to Clark GSOM. It is provided FREE OF CHARGE for part-time MBA students and can be taken at any time during the program, courtesy of GSOM Career Services.
