Alternative Admissions for Part-time Applicants
The Alternative Admissions Track (ALT) permits qualified part-time MBA applicants to submit an application without standardized test scores (GMAT or GRE). If accepted to the program based on your other credentials, you may enroll in 4 course units, and will be exempt from the standardized test requirement entirely if you achieve a GPA of 3.25 or higher in these preliminary units. You must have a minimum of 3 years of professional experience to qualify, as well as a strong academic background. Exceptions to these requirements will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Students who enroll via the Alternative Admissions Track are less likely to receive merit-based awards.
If applying to the part-time MSA program, you may submit your application as Alternative Admissions Track (ALT). If accepted to the MSA program, you may enroll in 3 course units, and will be exempt from the standardized test requirement entirely if you achieve a GPA of 3.25 or higher in these preliminary units.
Dual Degree Applicants - MBA/MA in Community Development & Planning and MBA/MS in Environmental Science & Policy
Dual Degree applicants must submit two online applications, one to GSOM and one to IDCE. However, only one set of supporting documents and application fee should be submitted to IDCE.
Questions regarding the status of your application to the Dual Degree should be directed to IDCE. Questions regarding the program can be directed to either IDCE or GSOM.
