8:00 AM - 8:30 AM
Breakfast

RA’s will accompany our students to The Bistro where students will have the opportunity for breakfast every morning. Attendance at breakfast is mandatory.

8:30 AM - 11:30 PM
AM Session

The AM Session will serve as a lecture-based class where faculty will introduce the day’s material to the students. Students will be exposed to a wide range of roles that make game design possible. As students become more familiar with those roles they will be split into teams where they will take on a role of their choosing.

11:30 Am - 12:30 PM
Lunch

After a productive AM Session, students will take a much-needed lunch break at The Clark Bistro. This is the perfect opportunity for students to relax and enjoy some good food; with lunch being an hour-long students will have some time to decompress and get their ideas together for the upcoming PM Session

12:30 PM - 3:30 PM
PM Session

Our PM Session will be structured to mimic Clark’s BSDT Game Studio. Students will gain experience working as part of a game studio team. Students will work with their teams to create an original game. While all student-driven teams will have creative freedom, they will be overseen and led by faculty members and student teachers.

3:30 PM - 5:30 PM
Open Lab / Recreation

After a learning-filled day, students will have some downtime prior to dinner every night. This is a great opportunity for students to remain in a productive mood and stay in the labs for some open lab hours. All of our open labs will have student-teachers on hand should students have any questions regarding their game.

5:30 PM - 6:30 PM
Dinner

Students will re-unit and attend dinner together, once again all dinners will be in The Bistro. The Bistro offers an excellent choice of food including vegetarian and gluten-free options for those with dietary restrictions.

6:30 PM - 9-30 PM
Open Lab / Activity

To end the day, students will have an option to take advantage of more open lab time or they can choose to hang out in the residence hall together. This will also serve as an activity block for our RA’s to run programs or activities.
