Academic Advising Handbook

Strong academic advising demonstrates Clark University’s commitment to student success.

Academic Advising is an integral part of the work of faculty as well as many staff. Advisors help students choose courses in their majors, minors, concentrations, and Program of Liberal Studies (PLS) requirements, and when necessary, they refer students to appropriate campus resources. Advisors also serve as mentors who assist students in discovering their potential and setting their academic, career, and personal goals. This handbook is designed to provide all students and academic advisors with necessary information about policies and procedures related to advising at Clark University.
