As part of its efforts to develop mechanisms for increased accountability and transparency related to policing, Clark will direct the University Police (UP) department to post a daily crime log online, which contains information related to UP’s activity in order to increase transparency.
This action item is one of 10 recommendations presented to President David Fithian in June 2021 by the Task Force for Campus Safety and Security. In response to concerns voiced by the Black Student Union and other members of our community, the task force reviewed Clark’s approach to campus safety and security.

- The University Police department and Clark’s Marketing and Communications Web Team worked together to build a crime log on the University Police website. Users may search for crimes reported by the campus community over the last 90 days.
