The Action Item has been fully implemented.

As part of its efforts to develop mechanisms for increased accountability and transparency related to policing, Clark will create a multi-constituency campus advisory board to oversee the implementation of recommendations by the Task Force for Campus Safety and Security.

This action item is one of 10 recommendations presented to President David Fithian in June 2021 by the task force, which reviewed Clark’s approach to campus safety and security. The task force was established in response to concerns voiced by the Black Student Union and other members of our community.
