Intercultural Programming
There is always more than one way of looking at things. At Clark,
interculturalism encompasses the many layers of experience each person brings to
the campus community. These layers of experience‹whether related to age,
ability, religion, gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, socioeconomic
status, the place you call home, or many other factors‹shape a person's values
and beliefs. And while each person may identify with certain groups, Clark
students, faculty and staff look outside of themselves and beyond those groups
to learn from each other. Together with Clark's student organizations, the Office of Intercultural Affairs (OIA)
sponsors programs throughout the year that allow students to explore and
celebrate the wide diversity that is Clark University.
Watch for this year's events and bookmark the OIA Calendar of Events page so you can participate in these exciting programs.
Below is a sampling of some of the programs offered by the OIA.
