profile of speaker Eliana Stanislawski seated at a table For the Spring ’24 semester, the Belonging Talks center on the theme of “Co-Creating Workforce Integration and Belonging for Refugees and Communities.” Our speakers explore topics related to sustainability and inclusivity for refugees in the workforce and in communities.

Eliana Stanislawski ’17 graduated from Clark with a B.A. in International Development and Social Change and will share their expertise in designing ESOL curriculum for adult refugee learners. Eliana will discuss strategies for increasing educational access for adult refugee learners, developing innovative approaches to virtual learning for adults at all language levels, and challenging the deficit mindset that is pervasive in Adult ESOL and refugee resettlement work.
