After exploring interactive media with an eye toward a career in 3D modeling and animation, Jason Messina ’25 discovered his passion for user interface and user experience.

“One of the very cool things about UI/UX is that you can end up anywhere,” he says.

During a recent internship at a public relations firm, Messina designed and updated websites for a variety of clients — an experience that taught him valuable multitasking skills.

His advice to @ClarkBSDT students? Take time to experience all aspects of game design. “Even if you initially pick a concentration, allow yourself time to explore the others,” he says.
