This summer marked the 27th year of the Bruce Wells Scholars Upward Bound/TRIO Program (@bwspupwardbound_). 📚

The college preparation program for first-generation/low-income Worcester Public Schools students, based at Clark and facilitated by YOU Inc., offers academic services, skill-building and enrichment activities, leadership development, post-secondary information, and a taste of the university experience.

Forty rising 10th-graders participated in classes and internships across the city, including at Clark and — pictured above — the Worcester County Poetry Association, where Brett Iarrobino ’21, M.A. ’22, hosted two interns.
