During a summer vacation to Qinghai Province, China, (Henry) Zihan Lin ’25 and his family pulled over on the side of the road to admire the area’s stunning mountains and vast grasslands.
“The geography of the place is very special and attracts a lot of people to visit,” says Lin, who grew up in Xining — the capital of Qinghai. “I could see the rolling hills and the changing light, and I wanted to document it.”
Lin, a psychology major and studio art minor, captured 23 images and stitched them together to create a panoramic landscape, which is currently on display in the Traina Center for the Arts.
