If you’ve noticed an abundance of mushrooms popping up in your yard or other outdoor spaces recently, you’re not alone. 🍄
“The woods are just bursting with mushrooms,” @ClarkUBiology Professor David Hibbett told the @BostonGlobe. “They tend to frequent places that are moist, that’s why we’re seeing so many of them this year.”
Hibbett, a mycologist, explained that the abnormal amount of rainfall that hit New England this summer has created a haven for fungi to flourish.
