Alert levels help the community understand the current level of risk on campus and how we are reacting. If levels of infection on campus remain low, the default risk level will be “Moderate” during the academic year. Depending on specific circumstances, a higher alert level may be applied to the whole campus or to specific parts of campus.
See definitions of Alert Levels 1-5 below.

Total number of test results received in the given time period.
Total number of individuals who received test results in the given time period.
Total number of positive test results reported in the given time period. Positive test results may include cases in which an individual was positive within the last 90 days, recovered, though can still test positive. A reduction in these numbers may reflect the confirmation of a false positive or removal of a duplicate positive in that 90-day window.
|Weekly Positivity Rate
The number of new positives divided by the number of tests collected in the given time period.
|Students in Dedicated Isolation Housing
Number of students in Clark managed isolation spaces through the as-of date. Isolation spaces are dedicated housing for students impacted by positive test results. These spaces will be used for students who cannot isolate in other arrangements — for example, at home.
|Seven Day Positivity Rates
A 7-day moving percentage of positive tests across three different populations. The Clark 7-day positivity rate is based on the number of tests administered through Clark’s testing facility. The Massachusetts and MA Higher Education numbers are provided by the state (https://www.mass.gov/info-details/covid-19-response-reporting).
