A new Earth conversation is a transformative climate initiative at Clark University.
CETL continues the Pedagogical Deep Dive Series with a new Earth conversation (NEC) Collaborative Courses.
Collaborative Courses are horizontal emergency and responsive to students’ ideas and creativity. Faculty and students co-produce key course questions, activities and outcomes.
This session will be moderated by Ellen Foley (IDCE), lead NEC convener, and include a faculty panel discussing their experiences teaching collaborative Courses. We will explore the importance of faculty self-reflection and self-evaluation when engaging in new and potentially risky pedagogical practices.
