DEADLINE: Submit disability documentation to the Director of Student Accessibility Services, and self-identify, by June 14, 2020.

*Please note: Based on guidelines from the CDC and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, changes to the Orientation program may occur

August 18–19, 2020

Early Orientation provides you with a solid overview of Clark’s accessibility services. You will:

  • Meet and get to know your Orientation peer adviser
  • Connect and form friendships with other students attending pre-orientation programs
  • Have some additional time to transition and find your way around campus

Our Fall 2020 schedule is still coming together, but feel free to check last year’s schedule below!

To attend our Early Orientation, follow this timeline:

  • From deposit to June 14 — First Steps
Enroll at Clark! Self-identify as a student with a disability (this usually happens when you say, “Hi, I am looking for accommodations.”)
  • By June 14 — Submit Documentation
Though accommodations are processed on a rolling basis, it is imperative that first-year students complete the process in a timely manner, as there are a large number of new students to be assisted. Any students who submit documentation after June 14 may miss early registration and may need to register during general course registration times.
  • By June 14 — Schedule an Intake Meeting
Schedule and complete an intake meeting with SAS staff. This meeting can happen over the phone or via Zoom and should take no longer than 30 to 40 minutes. Zoom meetings are preferred during this time! The intake meeting should be completed by June 14 so you can take advantage of early registration as an incoming First-Year Student.
  • June 15 — Course Registration
First-Year students registered with SAS are able to participate in early registration for their first semester of courses. Please note that this is only done for the first fall semester unless otherwise accommodated.
  • June 26 to July 24 — RSVP to Early Orientation
Let SAS staff know if you’re interested in participating in Early Orientation. Please RSVP by July 24.
  • July 31 — Final Confirmations
All new student meetings to review documentation, accommodations, and course selection should be completed by this date to be processed in a timely manner for the fall semester.
