Clark University\" style=\"object-fit:cover;\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns sidebar is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:45rem\">\n<p class=\"is-style-intro\">As the main facility for both music instruction and practice, Estabrook Hall fills the air of the east side of campus with the sound of students honing their craft on a variety of instruments and voices. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The second oldest building on campus, Estabrook Hall houses the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.clarku.edu\/visual-and-performing-arts\/academics\/music-ba\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"185\">music program<\/a>\u00a0on its first two floors and the\u00a0Language, Literature, and Culture Department\u00a0on the floors above. The music facilities in Estabrook Hall consist of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Fuller Music Center is a sizeable classroom for many of the music classes. Surrounded by several storage spaces for instruments and equipment, it also serves as a rehearsal space for our music ensembles, including the Clark University Choirs, Concert Band, Jazz Workshop, and Sinfonia.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A dozen soundproof practice rooms furnished with upright pianos are available for all Clark students with valid IDs.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Stop by Estabrook 220 M-F 9-5\u00a0 or see our front desk proctor during weekend or after hours to sign out a key!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>(Fun fact: there are 5 grand pianos hiding within Estabrook Hall. Can you locate them all?)<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Music\/Events Office is located on the second floor of Estabrook Hall and is staffed by students Monday \u2013 Friday 9 a.m. \u2013 5 p.m. These office assistants help with day-to-day administrative duties and the promotion\/staffing of all\u00a0Visual &amp; Performing Arts events. Stop by with a question or to say hello! No problem! We offer classes that teach you everything you need to know about\u00a0recording, from Computers &amp; Music (MUSC 141) to Soundtracks\u00a0(MUSC 242).\u00a0You\u2019ll\u00a0be\u00a0ready to\u00a0make\u00a0your own music in no time!\u00a0For more information about Clark\u2019s recording studio, please contact Professors John Freyermuth or Matt Malsky.
