The students are:<\/p>\n<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-400 size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/www.clarku.edu\/schools\/idce\/www-content\/blogs.dir\/6\/files\/sites\/12\/2019\/11\/Gabriel-Ipanaque-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"Gabriel Ipanaque\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/>Gabriel Yarlequ\u00e9 Ipanaqu\u00e9<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Gabriel Yarlequ\u00e9 Ipanaqu\u00e9\u2019s areas of interest include remote sensing, conservation, and land cover change with a strong focus on sustainable development. He has worked at the International Distributor of Esri in Peru providing successful implementations of the ArcGIS Platform. Gabriel has trained a wide range of professionals in government, conservation, transportation, and planning to enhance GIS analysis and workflows. Currently, he supports the work of Partners in Health towards Universal Health Coverage, providing GIS assistance to ongoing projects in Liberia and Sierra Leone.<\/p>\n<p>Gabriel will be working on MUN Impact maps, dashboards related to quizzes, and development of the MUN Impact Hub Page.<\/p>\n<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-401 size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/www.clarku.edu\/schools\/idce\/www-content\/blogs.dir\/6\/files\/sites\/12\/2019\/11\/Noah-Berkowitz-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"Noah Berkowitz\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/>Noah Berkowitz<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Noah Berkowitz is a graduate of Rowan University with a double B.S. in GIS and Planning. Noah was an active delegate in the Marlboro High Rutgers Model UN team. Previously he worked in the field of GIS with various agencies including Worcester Department of Health and the Monmouth County Sheriff\u2019s Office. Noah works at <a href=\"https:\/\/clarklabs.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" aria-label=\"Clark Labs\">Clark Labs<\/a> as a graduate researcher on machine and deep learning tasks as applied to remote sensing and GIS projects.<\/p>\n<p>Noah will be working on the Put your MUN on the Map survey, improving current maps and dashboard, and integrating MUN data into a new StoryMap driven by the data off this important MUN Impact survey.<\/p>\n<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-402 size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/www.clarku.edu\/schools\/idce\/www-content\/blogs.dir\/6\/files\/sites\/12\/2019\/11\/Zoe-Maymon-300x291.jpg\" alt=\"Zoe Maymon\" width=\"300\" height=\"291\" \/>Zoe Maymon<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Zoe Maymon focuses on environmental justice and public health at Clark University. Her prior experience includes working in the public health and environmental fields. She has experience with Python programming and database management. Zoe will work to develop data collection tools, including an SDG awareness baseline survey.<\/p>\n<p>MUN Impact is a global community that believes in the power of Model United Nations to inform, inspire, and motivate its participants to action in support of Sustainable Development Goals. The organization seeks to make an impact by providing communities with tools and ideas to act.
